We started on a cloud server, but marketplaces and many other services often block cloud servers. So Sam runs on a real computer and a real phone, like a normal user.
What Sam does in apps
The numbers come from the founder’s tasks.
- Shopee and Tokopedia
- Finds the cheapest offer, delivery included, from reliable sellers and pays in the mobile app via ShopeePay or GoPay. Cat food: Rp 803,000 delivered, while other sellers asked up to Rp 1.18 million. The app can be cheaper than the website: the same cream was 33% cheaper in the app.
- GoPay
- Sends money to Indonesian bank accounts or Virtual Accounts: a clinic, a driver, the water supplier.
- Booking and Agoda
- Books stays on the website or in the app, where prices are often lower. If the bank sends a code, you confirm it.
- Gojek
- Books a GoSend courier and shares the tracking link. Books rides on Gojek and orders food on GoFood.

The founder dictated the ideas in voice notes. Sam wrote most of the copy in three languages, designed the look and the layout, built 10 versions, published each one for review and bought the samdoes.id domain once the founder said yes.

Is Sam a person?
No, Sam is an AI. He does the tasks himself, and the founder sets him up to fit your life.
How is Sam different from ChatGPT and other AI chatbots?
A chatbot answers questions and gives advice, but you still do the work. Sam does the work: he messages people on WhatsApp, orders, books, pays once you give the go-ahead and stays on the task until it’s closed. For that he has his own computer, and on the Full plan his own phone with local apps.
How much does it cost?
We name the price in a conversation, once we’ve gone through your tasks and seen how Sam can help you.
What happens to my money, accounts and passwords?
- Sam pays only after your “yes” or within a limit you set yourself.
- Sam never sees your passwords. You enter them on a secure one-time page. They never appear in chat or logs and are deleted right after login.
- He works only in accounts you’ve connected yourself. Banks and government services are off-limits.
- Every client gets a separate user account on the computer; Full clients also get a separate phone.
- The first message to someone new goes out only after your “yes”.
Can Sam message people as me?
Yes, if you connect your WhatsApp account. Sam shows you each message first and sends it after your “yes”.
Can Sam send messages on his own, without my “yes”?
Yes, if you give him permission: for one task, one chat, one project, or for good. Within that scope, he messages people on his own. That’s how it works for the founder: Sam messages his massage therapist, driver and water supplier without checking with him.
Can Sam pay on his own, without my “yes”?
Yes, if you give him permission: for one task, one payee or up to a set amount. Within those limits, Sam pays and tells you what he paid for: hotels, boat tickets, Shopee and Tokopedia orders, GoPay transfers (transfers and in-app payments are on the Full plan). Above the limit he asks first, and for card payments you confirm the bank’s code. That’s how it works for the founder: Sam pays for the water on his own, but the cat food was over the limit, so he bought it only after the founder said yes.
Can I keep my own number out of it?
Yes. Give Sam a separate number and he’ll write as himself. Sam can work with several WhatsApp numbers at once.
Can Sam make phone calls?
No, Sam doesn’t make calls. He uses WhatsApp and email instead. In Indonesia, clinics, shops and drivers answer on WhatsApp anyway.
What if Sam makes a mistake?
Anyone can make a mistake, so Sam waits for your go-ahead or a standing permission before paying or sending the first message to someone new. If something goes wrong, Sam tells you himself and fixes it. If something technical breaks that he can’t fix, he passes it to the founder.
What if Sam can’t do my task?
He tells you plainly what didn’t work and why, and suggests what to do next. He isn’t allowed to pass a failure off as a success.
